State standard
In the high-voltage laboratory of the Department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering, a state standard circuit is assembled, which ensures the operation of equipment of a voltage class of 750 kV. The state standard scheme is connected to the internal power supply networks of the high-voltage hall and to the existing grounding conductors.
The national standard includes a standard capacitor filled with sulfur hexafluoride gas. The high voltage reference capacitor has been donated by the European Union in the framework of international cooperation.
The research program provides for experimental studies of the dielectric loss tangent of high-voltage equipment of the state standard, studies of the characteristics of a high-voltage capacitor at operating voltage.
